Commission me to create a soulful bespoke portrait for you or someone you know. Through a soulful interview, I aim to discover an array of the wide and vast images of your heart, soul, mind & spirit. With these images I create a unique and dreamy rendering that is in the style of Magical Realism and is similar to what it feels like to read a delicious magical realist fiction novel, like Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s One Hundred Years of Solitude (a favorite of mine).
Through a soulful interview via zoom, in person, I’ll lead you through sharing with me about you (or your loved one), in which time you’ll convey to me the images of your (their) heart, soul, mind & spirit. I’ll send you a list of questions to consider ahead of time and then we’ll take time sinking into these images and stories in our time together. After the interview, I’ll set to work to create the layout for your bespoke portrait! I’ll send you a sketch to review and together we’ll make adjustments. From there, you understand that I take full artistic license to complete your portrait in my style of painting. If I have questions, I’ll reach out and ask. The timeline for completion of your piece is dependent on many factors and I’ll do my best to have it done as soon as possible, but please expect to be patient with the creative process. I’m a great communicator, so know that I’ll keep in touch about how the timeline is looking at the initial outset and along the way.

20” x 20” acrylic paint on heavy duty canvas made from archival-quality natural cotton, with 1.5" profile kiln-dried stretcher bars for durability. Your custom portrait will be unframed.
